Why Facebook advertising objectives matter?

You’re probably getting into the wrong direction altogether, if you didn’t choose the right Facebook advertising objective.

The example is really simple. If you’re putting up a post with a link back to your website, and you boost it, what will you get? You’ll get a lot of likes, comments or shares from strangers. Don’t blame Facebook for this, because you sent the wrong signal. You have chosen the wrong objective.

If you want clicks to website, select traffic objective instead. If you want to reach maximum number of people with frequency control, use reach objective.
