It starts with the right objective, which is the action you’re trying to get. If you’re trying to get clicks to the landing page, choosing the engagement objective is wrong.

Then only followed by good ads design. This is the most subjective one and my answer would be to master a/b split testing, know when to test what to test, and the extend to test. Remember the rule of thumb: you can never think like your audience, so stop guessing and start testing.
