Simple rule-of-thumb – almost no one will buy from you the first time they see your ad. Don’t rush, plan a series of actions instead.

Too many advertisers are only advertising at the cold audience level, constantly working on getting traffic from broadly targeted audience based on interest, age, gender, location, etc.

However, they are probably missing on the most important part of Facebook advertising – to capture intended audiences, nurture them and remind them to move them towards conversion.
